dc.description.abstractThe author analysed the fundamental claim of equilibrium theory and the derived claims applied to cross border banking and showed that the claim lack empirical content. It also reviewed recent history of globalization of finance to show that every major banking, currency or sovereign debt banking has been preceded by deepening and widening of financial liberalization.en_US
