| Abstract: | This paper explores the possibility of estimating quarterly constant price Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Nigeria from published annual figures. The paper employs statistical techniques to break-up annual into quarterly series. An effort is made to explore an alternative approach to the use of a single economic indicator to estimate GDP on a quarterly basis. |
